Startup Europe comes to IoT World Europe in Dublin!
On Nov 21st and 22nd, 5 startups from the Welcome project and 15 companies from the Startup Scaleup project, attended Europe’s largest Internet of Things conference, IoT World Europe in Dublin’s Convention Centre.
These startups were awarded a premium package for this event including conference passes, a stand and the opportunity to pitch to conference attendees, local investors and their fellow IoT startups on the Project Kairos stage.
The Welcome startups in attendance were:

These teams were joined by the top 15 teams selected from the 80 on the current Startup Scaleup IoT Accelerator cycle and together they made a big impact in the startup demo area with great interest in their booths and many meetings organised via the IoT World conference app.
The 20 Startup Europe startups also made a big impact on the pitching stage winning 4 out of the 7 vertical categories and progressing to the final where the very large audience were impressed by the quality of the pitches.
Startup Europe was also represented at the event with a Startup Europe/Startup Scaleup stand spreading the word among attendees and members of the Dublin startup ecosystem.

WELCOME is a project under the Startup Europe initiative that aims to build a pan-European tech startup ecosystem.
